City Administrator
The City of Ulysses (pop. 5,700) is accepting applications for the position of City Administrator. This growing, family-oriented community is the center of commerce and industry for a large region of southwest Kansas. For additional community information visit www.cityofulysses.com. The city has a $10 million budget and 44 employees and operates under a mayor and six member council form of government. This is a vacant position. Bachelor’s degree required in public administration or closely related field preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and previous public or private sector management experience. The job requires strong administrative, communications, and organizational skills. The candidate must be a creative professional with a high degree of energy to address community issues.
